National Dog show Spoiler Alert 😜. Anyone that

National Dog show Spoiler Alert 😜. Anyone that knows me, knows my obsession with dog shows. Every year I record the National Dog Show on Thanksgiving and remind people when I see them not to spoil it for me, as if anyone knows it’s even happening. Anyway, we watched it when we got home tonight and we lost our minds. #vito #nationaldogshow2024

I just love this kid. He does what he wants. And

I just love this kid. He does what he wants. And he wanted to learn guitar. Henry loves music, always has giant headphones on and introduces me to his latest favorite songs every time we’re in the car. A lot of times it’s 90s songs that I used to love. He’s had four lessons with the amazing @thejonmckinney (seriously the best) and he’s hooked! And I just love all of it.

Happy son’s day (a day late) to my favorite boys! They are the best brothers and they don’t even realize it. Henry teaches George everything he’s learned from fishing, guitar, skateboarding and then turns around and shoots him in the back with his gel blaster in true big brother fashion. And George looks up to Henry and soaks it all up in the most sincere way, and then also shoots him in the back. These two are the best together and separate. We hit the jack pot when it comes to kids that genuinely get a long and like each other, Ruth included. Three little peas in a pod.

Sound on. I need to put these videos here so I can see them ten years from now. Henry played what he thinks our family dogs’ brains would sound like, and it’s so spot on. My sister’s dog’s made me cry it’s so funny. I’ve watched it a hundred times. If you knew this dog….Shamu’s is the last video. I’m sure some of you have a Shamu 🎪😂. And a Marge 🦗and a Ted 🎈

Second annual Cadet A girls verses 8th grade boys kickball game is in the books! Music was blasting and the trash talk was flowing. It was loud, chaotic, confusing, hilarious and so much fun. Somehow our awesome 7th graders on the team didn’t make it into the picture😭. I told you it was chaos. We need to hire an ump next year!

The first of the lasts. Cadet kickball has come to an end 🥹🥹🥹.This was a tough one, @abultinck1 and I have coached most of these girls since third grade. I will really really miss coaching Ruth and her friends, lots of memories were made. We laughed through the whole season- win or lose, it didn’t matter, these girls had a blast.

Time has flown by. Seems like yesterday she was in kindergarten. She’s still that same little girl just taller than me now. She hasn’t lost an ounce of her spunk. She’s a hard worker, responsible, funny and so fun to be around. Ruth, I hope you have the best year yet! We love you so much and we’re so proud of you ❤️🥹

Finally! Ruth and George are back to school! Ruth 8th, George 4th. George signed his poster Geob, which is a nickname for him because in kindergarten he signed his name Geob one time. This is the last year for George to be at school with a sibling. He’ll miss Ruth in high school. 🥺. Looking forward to a great year!

Happy 6th birthday to Marge! Looking at these hurts a little. She has definitely aged this year, but in her defense it was a rough one (and expensive) filled with dermatologist appointments and prescription diets- but we figured it out and she’s basically perfect now, very muscular (not fat, all muscle). Happy birthday to this sweet little introvert that has no interest in saying hi to your dog and prefers to sleep 22 hours a day. We love her soooo much and she knows it! Closing out the summer at Hocking Hills. Why have we never been here!? Checked out Cedar Falls and Ash Cave so far. No waterfalls this year but we’ll just have to come back. Staying at the KOA, which when George was learning to read he would say it as a word instead of letters- Koa. So we call them all Koas. This Koa is a good one!

Happy 10th birthday to George. I adore this kid, he is one of a kind. Hilarious, happy, kind, thoughtful, athletic, artistic, so so optimistic and happily goes with the flow. He is so much fun to be around and makes us laugh everyday. His siblings refer to him as the Golden Child which is a name he doesn’t mind 😂. Happy birthday George, I wish I could hug you, but I know you’re having the best day at camp!

Happy camp week to Ruth and George! It’s always their favorite week of summer and this time George celebrates his birthday at camp, which makes me sad, but he’ll love it. Also, shout out to Henry for giving Ruth his crocs because she forgot hers even after being reminded 9,000 times. He walked back to the car in his socks. We looked real weird leaving.
