Henry, Ruth and George
Here are my three beautiful, hilarious, awesome kids. Gosh I love these three soooo much. I’m not sure how we got so lucky to have easy, independent, smart little humans. I genuinely love being around them and I just want to freeze time. Do you recognize this spot?? Its even prettier on the inside.
It felt so good to take pics of my kiddos! It’s been a weird year of transitions for me. As our kids have gotten older, our lives became busier with sports, coaching and activities. And while I love love love taking family pics, I found myself missing lots of games and moments with my kids. I decided this year I was going to change it up and free up my nights and weekends.
So… I did it! I actually did it. I transitioned over to mostly photographing food, mainly for The Produce Moms (an awesome business founded by my cousin, Lori Taylor, go checked it out!). While I have loved learning this new side of photography, I found myself really missing my families I see every year! It was such a quiet fall for me and honesty it felt weird! I am such a social person and all of the sudden I didn’t see about 70 families that I normally do, I didn’t get to catch up with everyone and see how big their kids have grown!
So who knows what the next year will bring, I’m not sure I can do another fall season with out seeing some of my regulars! Maybe 2023 will be another year of transitions! Regardless, I plan to listen to my gut and go with the flow, I have faith I’ll land where I am supposed to be.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
